That's right… Pixel Jade is officially a year and a half old! 🎉
Okay, so we're not quite at the two-year mark yet, but I'm a big believer in celebrating the milestones along the way. And 18 months feels like a pretty big one to me.
When I first started Pixel Jade, I knew I wanted to build something that was my own. A business where I could combine my experience in marketing and design with my love for creativity, while helping other businesses grow and show up confidently online.
What I didn't fully appreciate was just how much would happen in those first 18 months.
From Taking the Leap to Building Pixel Jade
Starting your own business is exciting, but it can also be a little scary.
There have been plenty of moments where I've questioned myself, faced challenges and had to figure things out as I went. Running a business means you're constantly learning, adapting and wearing a lot of different hats!
But every challenge has taught me something.
And every small win has been worth celebrating.
From landing new clients and completing exciting projects to having conversations that have led to new opportunities, Pixel Jade has grown in ways I couldn't have predicted when I first started.
A Huge Thank You to My Clients
One of the biggest things I want to celebrate is the amazing clients I've had the opportunity to work with.
Whether you've trusted me with your social media, designed a new website with me, worked on branding, needed graphic design support, wanted help with SEO or simply needed someone to take some of the marketing off your plate — thank you.
Every project, big or small, has helped Pixel Jade grow.
I've had the opportunity to work with businesses across different industries, each with their own goals, challenges and ideas. That's one of my favourite things about what I do — no two days are ever quite the same.
Celebrating the Small Wins
I'm a big believer that you don't have to wait until you've reached a huge milestone to celebrate.
So, yes, I'm celebrating 18 months.
I'm celebrating the clients I've worked with.
I'm celebrating the projects I've completed.
I'm celebrating the lessons I've learned.
I'm celebrating the challenges I've overcome.
I'm celebrating the new connections, collaborations and opportunities.
And I'm celebrating the fact that I took the leap and built something of my own.
There is still so much I want to achieve with Pixel Jade, and I'm excited to see where the next 6 months — and beyond — takes me.
What's Next for Pixel Jade?
The goal remains the same: to help businesses look good, get noticed and feel confident about their marketing.
Whether that's through social media management, graphic design, branding, websites, SEO, Google Business Profile management or simply helping businesses figure out what they should actually be doing with their marketing — I'm here to help.
I'm also looking forward to continuing to meet new people, work with amazing businesses and build even more connections within the local business community.
So, here's to 18 months of Pixel Jade.
Not quite two years… but definitely worth celebrating.
